We're back and bigger than ever for our third straight year of chills and frills, adding a third day to the scariest event in Montclair!

In partnership with White Rabbit Black Heart, DollyMoo, and Libéula, join us for our third annual Haunted House on October 24th & 25th from 7-11:30 PM for our adult shows and October 26th from 5:30-8:30 PM for pre-teens.

This year's theme is childhood nightmares, featuring classic horror-fueled fever dreams that will send shivers down your spine. Travel into other worlds, dilapidated attractions, and settings conceived of and inspired by 80's slashers. Will you manage to survive? Or will your childhood nightmares come to steal you away in the night? Whether you're a horror aficionado or simply seeking a chilling night out, this event is not to be missed!

How do we purchase tickets?

Tickets can either be purchased through Eventbrite, which is linked above, or day-of at a table settled near the entrance of the event.

How long does the Haunted Labyrinth take to get through?

We expect the whole tour to last approximately 10 minutes per group and we will be running two groups at a time. Please be mindful, though, that if there is a line, you're night out may be longer than anticipated.

Can we bring food, drinks, or vapes?

No. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing these items as spillages that require cleaning will cause longer wait times and smoke will damage the inventory.

Is this event suitable for children and pets?

While we love to hear the delighted pitter-patter of children and pets running through our shelves during normal operating hours, we do not recommend anyone who walks on four feet or is under the age of 13 join you on this frightful escapade on October 24th or 25th. On October 26th, however, we're offering a night of frights for anyone over the age of 8!

Is this event wheelchair accessible?

No. There will be many tight areas to walk through and areas where some people may need to duck so as to not hit the ceiling. Unfortunately, if you have severe mobility concerns, you will not be able to access the whole of the area encompassed to fully enjoy our harrowing halls..

Will there be strobe lights or smoke machines?

Any flashing lights or smoke machines will be outside and accessory to the event. We will never use strobe lights or smoke machines within our Haunted Funhouse.

Will the actors touch or otherwise harm me?

There is an all-around "no touching" policy. If you don't touch us with the intent to harm anyone, we won't touch you. Similarly, if you come in intoxicated and choose to touch any of our actors, you will be promptly evicted from the event without a refund.

Are there any ways to escape the haunted funhouse if I start to feel unsafe?

Yes. There is almost always an exit nearby that the guide or actors will lead you to if you should start feeling uncomfortable or unsafe.

How do we redeem tickets purchased online?

Our ticket-holder will have a printed list of all the registered guests who purchased a ticket online. When it's your turn to do so, simply tell this person you've purchased your tickets online and your name, and they will grant passage into the event.

Will we get candy after the event?

Yes, but please be mindful that we are not accommodating for dietary restrictions or allergies in our candy selection. Please know your limitations and carefully read the ingredients before enjoying the candy you receive.

How can we leave our feedback for next year?

We will provide you a QR code that leads to a Google Feedback Form at the exit where you'll receive candy.

Can we purchase anything during the event?

The Montclair Book Center will have a small selection of Horror-themed books available for purchase while you're waiting for admittance into our Haunted Funhouse. You may also purchase items at our partner businesses White Rabbit Black Heart, Libéula, and DollyMoo.
